Rayon Challis
Whatnot
Brushwork, Teal Navy
Ruby Star Society

$17.00 per yard

Part of the “whatnot” collection designed by Rashida Coleman Hale for Ruby Star Society in collaboration with Moda Fabrics, this print is “a little of this, a little of that,” with a “playful look at the objects we see around us every day.”   This high-quality rayon challis is buttery soft touch, and has a fantastic drape.   This semi-opaque challis has a background of warm navy, and covered in a ballet pink, white, light teal, green, and pale yellow paintbrush swipes and swirls.

Ruby Star Society starts with five women working collaboratively and supportively to design delightful, beautiful fabrics, and it continues with you: Every person who has looked at a wall stacked high with bolts of fabric and felt that first spark of inspiration, imagination swirling, colors calling, all promise and possibility. Every woman who has believed in herself in spite of her circumstances, who believes in the *power* of her own gifts and ideas.  Every person who has had a vision, who has wanted to create something beautiful, and who is willing to dream big.  That, friends, is magical confidence; and we’re here to share it with you.  Ruby Star Society is currently in collaboration with Moda Fabrics.

Make Ideas

The quality of this fabric rivals any viscose challis import, and it should be used in a similar way.  The gallery image depicts the Carolyn PJs pattern, but any item requiring superb drape and flow, like a light top, maxi skirt, or dress, will be amplified by this stand-out print.  Check out the other prints of Ruby Star Society rayons we have in stock.
