This “Harbe” lawn was designed by Naomi Ito for Kokka, under the nani IRO collection, is lightweight and delicate, tightly woven, and has a smooth feel. It is semi-opaque. This fabric has a rich blue background with a metallic gold floral print. This is a remnant of only 3/4 yard, and is a final sale item. Regular price is $20/yd.
Naomi Ito describes her inspiration for the Harbe line: “Looking closely at the herbs and wild grasses in my garden, I drew them deformed. Then I designed them into a vast herb field by making them small – as if in a micro-world. After firmly printing them with pigments and dyeing the whole fabric, it was finished keeping its soft touch. The fragility in hand is like soft herbs with a strong core.”
