Estuary Skirt
Sew Liberated

$21.00 each

The Estuary Skirt by Sew Liberated is a beginner-friendly, body-friendly skirt pattern that you’ll feel like wearing every day of the week.  It comes in Sew Liberated’s sizes 0-30 (see gallery image for measurements) and features a comfortable elastic back.  The button front placket, which can be sewn with buttonholes OR as a faux, buttonhole-free placket, makes this skirt a great project for all levels of sewists.

Wear it with plain or graphic knit tees, woven tops, or warm it up in the winter with a cropped sweater or sweatshirt, leggings and boots, to make effortless outfits. And big ol’ pockets – instructions for either patch pockets or in-seam pockets are provided.  The skirt can also be lengthened or shortened to your heart’s content.

Each pattern features an instruction booklet and pattern pieces printed on tissue, enclosed in a lightweight, full-color cardboard box.

Sew Liberated began in a drafty adobe house on a street without a name in rural northern Mexico in 2006 by Meg McElwee.  Over the years, Sew Liberated has evolved to focus on slow fashion, sustainability, and mentoring women to look at their sewing as a practice of self-care.  We believe that the act of making one’s own clothes can be transformative, personally and on a global scale, when done through the lens of sustainable fashion.
