The Axel skirt pattern creates a fitted knit skirt with a range of different hem finishes.  The pattern sits at the natural waistline, and features close fit, simple construction and easily adaptable pieces.

Version 1 is a midi length skirt with a handkerchief hem. Version 2 is an above-knee length skirt with hip sashes. Version 3 is a midi length skirt with slit that can be worn in the front or back.

Your beautiful pattern envelope includes the full size pattern on high quality tissue paper and comprehensive instruction booklet with detailed instructions to guide you through constructing your garment.

Megan Nielsen patterns have a modern fit – which means that they have less wearers ease and more closely align to ready to wear sizing. All patterns are drafted for a B/C cup and our fit model is 5’9”.
What else do I need?

Fabric recommendations: Knit fabrics with at least 30% stretch. Stable knits such as ponte, neoprene, or scuba will create a more structured look. For a flowing look, choose a fabric with more drape.
